“The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions, and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.”

There might be more a meaningful charity out there, but I am hard pressed to name it.  This organization helps the families and the children of men who have sacrificed everything for our freedom.  We cannot repay these brave souls personally.  Few of us have the courage or skills to take their place in battle.  But we can help look after the ones they left behind at home.

This highly rated charity, among its other successes, has helped nearly two hundred surviving children graduate college.  Sadly, there will always be more losses, and more young ones in need of help.  Their fathers will not fail you.  Do not fail their children.
